He was born in Denizli in 1966.
He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Denizli.
He graduated as a medical doctor from the Faculty of Medicine at Çukurova University, where he studied between 1983 and 1990.
Between 1990 and 1992, he completed his compulsory service as a physician at the Tunceli Central Health Center. He then voluntarily transferred to the Balıkesir Edremit Altınoluk Health Center and worked as a general practitioner until September 1997.
In addition, he completed his military service as a reserve officer at the Edremit 100-Bed Military Hospital between June 1995 and September 1996.
In 1997, he started his specialization training in the Department of Neurosurgery at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization with a thesis titled "Evaluation of the Relationship between Intracranial Pressure and the Hypothalamo-Hypophyseal-Gonadal Axis in Severe Head Trauma Patients" in 2003, and became a specialist in brain and nerve surgery.
Between 2003 and 2006, he worked as a brain and nerve surgery specialist at Bolu Izzet Baysal State Hospital.
He started working in the private sector in January 2007. He worked at Düzce Özel Hayri Sivrikaya Hospital between 2007-2008. He worked at Turkey Diyanet Foundation Ankara Özel 29 Mayıs Hospital between January 2009 and February 2014. He worked briefly at Medicana International Ankara Hospital between February and October 2014. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery at Yüksek İhtisas University Faculty of Medicine between January 2015 and March 2016.
He worked at Özel Ankara Umut Hastanesi between April 2016 and June 2021. Since August 2021, he has been providing services at his private practice.
He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Neurosurgical Society, and Turkish Spine Society.
He specializes in general neurosurgery practices as well as spine and spinal cord disease surgery, neurotrauma, and brain tumor surgery.
He speaks English. He is married and has two daughters.
